Gently lower the frame, it is connected to the opposite side and should swing downward.

Now place the light cover (image side down) on top of the light diffuser

Now that the light cover is flat, raise the frame and lock the tabs.

I was just disappointed. I didn't realize they were these flimsy covers that you had to tape to some other type of rigid light cover. The fluorescent lights I have don't have any covers you look up and you see the bare bulbs. What do I do now?

DISAPPOINTED. 22 X 24 WAS THE ADVERTISEMENT, NOT TRUE TO SIZE. I NOW HAVE 8 PANELS WITH A ONE INCH GAP IN EACH PANEL. THEY LOOK COOL BUT NOW HAVE TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO FILL IN THE GAPS.

After cutting to size, I cannot return the OctoLights, so I guess I just have to throw them out. They cut down on so much light that I can't use them in my kitchen. Also, I'd say they are overpriced.

I bought this to add ambiance to our office bathroom. It does that well and also cut the glare from the light. However, we are a medical office and it cuts the light a bit too much to use in the treatment rooms. I would definitely buy it again for the right location.
